The Lager Model

Picture
With a more pulled in nose than the average longboard, the Lager Model is all about performance. Again looking back to the mid to late sixties Mctavish involvement and vee bottom era this board is based all around riding the curl. With the wide point back and such a narrow nose, you can really jam your turns and don't have to worry about catching water on wide points or "ears" up the front of the board, which happens quite a lot on wide nosed boards.
As with the tail game, the noseriding really excels in the pocket as opposed to out on the shoulder in the fat part of the wave. You will find that it might look daunting at first as it's so narrow but once you get into it you will realize the narrower noses fit really well into the pocket whilst noseriding as opposed to a big wide plank that starts to get a bit sluggish in the hollower noseriding sections.
